Pet Dentistry

At every appointment, we include a thorough examination of your pet's teeth, mouth, and gums as part of
their overall physical check-up. We provide advice on preventative dental care to help maintain your pet's
oral health. If necessary, we may recommend a dental procedure such as a scale and polish to prevent
the pain and discomfort caused by conditions like gingivitis and to ensure your pet’s mouth remains
healthy. Regular dental care is essential to your pet’s overall well-being, and we are here to help keep
their smile bright and pain-free.

Periodontal disease is the leading cause of bad breath (or “halitosis”) in pets, and so we recommend regular health checks to maintain a healthy mouth in your pets. Our veterinarians can then carry out procedures including routine cleaning, polishing and extractions of any infected or broken teeth. An important part of your pets dental care is for you to maintain an ongoing dental routine at home; including regular brushing of teeth and feeding a suitable diet to reduce the recurrence of plaque and dental disease. Our veterinarians will be more than happy to discuss and formulate a specialised dental care plan that will suit both you and your pets lifestyle.

We offer a descale and polish under general anaesthetic, which may prevent the need for more complex procedures in the future such as x-rays and extractions. When necessary we do offer x-rays and removals .
