Pet passports are issued under the EU Regulation governing the movement of pet animals, facilitating hassle-free travel for pets between EU countries.

To travel within the EU, your pet must meet the following requirements:

1. Be implanted with a registered microchip.
2. Have received a rabies vaccination (given at least 21 days prior to travel for dogs over 12 weeks old).
3. Possess an EU pet passport, which we can organise for you.
4. Undergo a health check 1–5 days before travel, including a tapeworm and tick treatment, both administered by a vet and recorded in the passport.

If travelling outside the EU (including the UK, which no longer participates in the EU pet passport scheme), you must adhere to the specific rules and regulations of your destination country. These requirements are set by the country you are entering, not the country you are leaving.

Ensure you consult the appropriate authorities or embassy of your destination in advance to confirm their entry criteria.
